People have asked me about the origins of our company name and the fox logo. The origin of the name Twin Red Media is actually quite simple: I have twin red-headed sons. My wife is also a redhead and I considered a variety of names. I ultimately settled on Twin Red Media as having the best ring to it.

The foxes in our logo represent several concepts. At the most basic level, the color of a fox ties into our branding. They represent cunning and street smarts, which are key to their survival against hunters and other predators. Entrepreneurs require the same kind of smarts to ensure their business' survival and long-term growth.

Foxes also represent swiftness, which is a crucial trait for the agile business. Businesses must be able to gather actionable information quickly and react in an instant to new challenges or opportunities. Foxes are also tenacious in their pursuit of food just like businesses must be tenacious of their pursuit of success.

Finally, Twin Red Media wants to promote a mutually beneficial collaboration between enterprise and environmentalism and having a colorful member of the woodlands representing our brand brings focus to that. For all the reasons the fox is an excellent symbol of the wild, he is also a model for business: cunning, fast, tenacious. For every business we help empower online, we will also honorarily adopt a red fox in the client's name from the National Wildlife Federation.
